RadPeak was founded by Philipp Ludescher, a former professional road cyclist who discovered his passion for cycling at the age of 7 in his hometown of Roethis, Austria. His journey in the sport began at the age of 9 when he started racing and quickly progressed to join the Austrian National Team. Philipp's dedication and skill led him to become the Austrian Champion in Track, Road, and Cyclocross disciplines, representing his country in prestigious World and European Championships. Transitioning to the professional level, he competed in renowned UCI calendar races, including the illustrious Tour of Flanders and Gent-Wevelgem.

In 2009, during his pre-season preparations, Philipp met his wife Roxane and developed a profound connection with Cape Town. Captivated by the city's allure and inspired by the cycling opportunities it offered, Philipp made the decision to relocate to South Africa in 2012. This move allowed him to fully embrace his passion for cycling in a new and exciting environment. In 2022, Philipp further demonstrated his commitment to his lifelong love for cycling by leaving behind an 11-year corporate career, enabling him to pursue his vision wholeheartedly. Driven by his deep knowledge and experience in training and racing, he founded RadPeak. Through RadPeak, Philipp combines his expertise with his profound understanding of the captivating cycling routes, both renowned and hidden, in and around Cape Town.
